J. Harland Webster was born December 15, 1981, and is a lifetime resident of Clarksdale, Coahoma County, Mississippi.
After graduating from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus, Harland attended The University of Mississippi graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in 2004.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Harland attended The University of Mississippi School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2006. Harland joined Chapman, Lewis, & Swan, PLLC, in 2007, and is now the managing member of Webster Legal, PLLC.
His primary areas of practice are Wage & Hour Litigation and Civil Litigation – including Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, & Mass Torts.
Harland is admitted to practice before all State & Federal Courts in Mississippi, Federal Courts in Arkansas and Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Harland is an active member and past President of the Coahoma County Bar Association & a member or the Mississippi Bar Association, including the Lawyer in Every Classroom Series sponsored by the Young Lawyers’ division of the MS Bar.
Harland is married to the former Bronwynn Gist and they have 3 children and reside in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
